How Digital X-Rays Work

Digital X-rays are a revolutionary way to take dental images. Utilizing advanced technology, digital X-rays provide a fast, accurate and safe way to diagnose dental issues. The X-rays are taken with a digital sensor and then stored electronically, eliminating the need for film and developing chemicals. This also makes it easy to share the images with other dental professionals or insurance companies.

The digital X-rays are taken quickly and accurately, and allow Dr. Barnard to detect any potential issues in the mouth. This allows her to provide the best treatment plan for her patients. Digital X-rays also reduce the amount of radiation exposure, making them a safe and effective way to diagnose dental issues.

Advanced Imaging Technology

At Implant & Cosmetic Dentistry of Northern Indiana, patients can receive digital x-rays for a more accurate and efficient diagnosis. Digital x-rays use advanced imaging technology to capture a clear image of the teeth and gums without the need for film. This technology reduces the amount of radiation exposure and makes it easier to share the images with other specialists.

Digital x-rays provide a clear picture of the teeth and mouth that can be used to detect cavities, evaluate the health of the jawbone, and even diagnose oral cancer. The images can also be used to plan treatments such as dental implants or crowns.
